We’re closing in on six weeks until release which means it’s time to talk about preorders and launch events!!

I’m thrilled to be celebrating the launch of Wedding Dashers at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park, Seattle on January 28th at 7 pm where I’ll be in conversation with bestie, critique partner, and author of LET’S CALL A TRUCE, Amy Buchanan (out January 14)

I have to take this moment to emphasize what a dream come true it is that Amy will be my conversation partner. Amy and I met when we were both wee little mentees in the incredible writing mentorship program Smoochpit (2? 3? years ago?), and have since become critique partners and close friends. Now, not only are we debuting within two week of each other, but I’ll be flying to Orlando for her launch event (January 14th at Spellbound Books in Orlando) and she’ll be flying to Seattle for my event. So if you want to see Amy and I get real mushy and sentimental (and probably weird?), come see us in Orlando (January 14th) or in Seattle (January 28th). We will be talking all things writing, each other’s books, tropes, and book boyfriends! It will be a good time, I promise!

I also have a couple of other Seattle area events lined up as well so keep an eye on social media for more info:

• I’ll be participating in a panel with fellow romance debuts Amy Buchanan, Erin Connor and Jessica James, moderated by Jo Segura on January 30th at Page 2 Books in Burien, Wa. I’m extremely excited about this event so stay tuned! More info to come!

• I’ll also be in conversation with Erin Connor, author of UNROMANCE (out January 14) on February 1st at Invitation Books in Gig Harbor, Wa. Again, more info to come!

ARC reading update:

Last: I most recently finished PASSION PROJECT by London Sperry and it was fireeeeeeee. The book covers a lot of heavy topics (grief and depression), but London’s fresh voice, pitch perfect humor, and a strongly woven message of hope keep the story buoyant with joy and tenderness. An absolutely brilliant debut I have no plan on shutting up about. It’s out April 8th and you can preorder it here

Current: I’m currently in the middle of the Amazon jungle with my girl Dr. Miri Jacobs and hottie, Rafa, in Jo Segura’s latest adventure romcom, THE TEMPLE OF SWOON. I am having so much fun with these two and I can’t wait for everyone to read this book. It’s out January 7th and you can preorder it here.

Next: Next up I’m diving into FLIRTING WITH DISASTER by Naina Kumar. A Sweet Home Alabama retelling??? SIGN ME UP! It’s out January 14th and you can preorder it here.
