Sorry to be back in your inboxes again so soon! I promise you won’t hear from me for a while!
First of all, thank you so much for all the pub day love!!! I’m incredibly honored and grateful that this story has found so many kind, generous, hilarious and passionate readers!
I’m currently in New York where it’s a balmy 13 degrees! Which is inhumane as far as I’m concerned. Despite the CHILLY conditions, my dear friend London Sperry and I have had the best time jaunting around New York City, eating yummy food, trying to stay warm, and seeing the sights. I have a chapter in a current WIP that takes places in NYC and I’m absolutely thrilled to go back and rewrite the entire thing with my new found city experiences. I have a feeling this scene will now take place in below freezing temperatures teehee.
On Saturday I was in conversation with London at Love & Legends where we had a lovely time chatting all things pathetic men and slutty little towels.
If you haven’t yet picked up Passion Project, it was one of my favorite reads of last year. London writes with such humor, heart and warmth and is one of my most favorite voices in the genre (and one of my most favorite people!!). I also had the great honor of reading her next book, City People, and y’all simply aren’t ready for how incredibly fun, sexy and emotionally resonant this book is!!!
Next up, I’ll be in San Francisco (hopefully much warmer!!!) where I’ll be in conversation with the lovely Jessica Joyce at Book Passage on Feb 12th.
Now that Sunk in Love is out in the world and making its way into the hands of readers, I wanted to be sure and share the Official Sunk in Love playlist made by my dear friend Jill! It’s the perfect accompaniment to set sail with!
Speaking of accompaniments, I am so thrilled to share that if you’re in the Seattle’s area, you can try the Sunk in Love ice cream float (taste Liam???) exclusively available at Always Summer Ice Cream Cafe in Lake Forest Park (right next to Third Place books so you can get a little treat while you shop!) I had a chance to try it on release day and it’s absolutely delicious! Pairs perfectly with a man who yearns!
Last but not least, I am so excited to announce that Sunk in Love has been selected as a Book of the Month add on for February! If you’re looking to complete your Heather McBreen collection in hardback, Sunk in Love looks absolutely gorgeous next to the BOTM edition of Wedding Dashers! I haven’t yet gotten my BOTM copy of Sunk in Love, but I am so looking forward to seeing my two girls side by side on my bookshelf 🥹🥹
